Please read my FAQs before contacting me:
How tall are you? 5’9”.
Do you work on spec? No way, Jose. I also don’t give free ideas or free creative direction, nor do I watch films until officially booked on the project.
It’s my first feature film/labor of love project. What can I get for a $5K budget? A referral to someone else.
Are you a sketch or storyboard artist? Can I hire you to execute another art director’s concept? No. How much of the work on your site is your art direction? I do everything from concept to photo compositing, illustrating, and type layout.
Are these real posters? All work is commissioned by movie studios, directors and/or movie poster advertising shops. Some simply make it to the end, some don’t.
What is your typical work process for one illustrated poster? Click here.
Do you do posters for mainstream films? I work on all types of projects, but the non blockbuster movies allow for more creative work.
Do you do posters for short films, festivals, or low budget documentaries? I do not work on a sliding scale. I charge the same project minimum fee as I would a feature length. It takes me the same amount of time.
Will you do a portrait of my dog or baby? Not unless it’s smoking a doobs or high-fiving Garfield.
